Bear Brook: Naming the Allenstown Four

from Buried Truth Hosted by Buried Truth

Bear Brook, also known as the Allenstown Four case, began with barrels found in 1985 and 2000 in Bear Brook State Park, New Hampshire, holding four unidentified victims. DNA showed three victims were a mother and daughters, while the fourth child was unrelated, and a 2017 genetic-genealogy link pointed to Terry Rasmussen, who used aliases including Bob Evans. In 2019, Marlyse Honeychurch, Marie Vaughn, and Sarah McWaters were identified, last seen in November 1978, and a 2025 DNA Doe Project identification named the final victim, Rea Rasmussen, daughter of Rasmussen, so all four victims are now named.
