This is December 24th's exhortation by Matt Carpenter on conquering temptations and disappointment and pursuing joy and gratitude. Matt Carpenter taught history for fifteen years and has served in pastoral ministry for ten years. He is married to Amanda and they have four children: Phoebe, Simeon, Emmaline, and Olivia.
