Last week Pastor touched on following Christ's example as we are the recipients of the benefits of Christ suffering, so we should view the world as potential benefactors of our suffering. We should not let our mouths betray us that we do not curse or threaten those who curse us. But that we rebuke sin in love. The flesh should not dictate our reaction to the evil of this world, but rather the Spirit should. Today Pastor addresses another aspect of our relationship with Christ in these times. Jesus trusted in His Father and committed to "just take it", knowing God will deal justly even if what is currently happening is not just. There is an underlying peace knowing that the Father will take care of this. The martyrs cry out to God in heaven asking how long before you judge the earth knowing that the Father will have justice one day. The ones with the closest presence to the throne in heaven while waiting for the outpouring of God's wrath are those who suffered.
