Seven models (of bearing witness) to consider: Steps to Peace with God (Billy Graham Evangelistic)           Step One: God’s purpose: Peace and Life – God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life – abundant and eternal.        Step Two: The Problem: Our Separation – God created us in His own image to have an abundant life.  He did not make us into robots or marionettes.  He gives us a will and a freedom of choice.  We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way.  We still make this choice today.  This results in separation from God. Step Three: God’s Bridge is a Cross – Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave.  He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and humanity. Step Four: Our Response: Receive Christ – We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.   The Four Spiritual Laws (Campus Crusade for Christ)           One: God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.           Two: Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God.  Therefore, he cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for his life.           Three: Jesus Christ is God’s ONLY provision for man’s sin.  Through Him you can know and experience God’s love and plan for your life.           Four: We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.   The Roman Road to Salvation           Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.           Romans 5:6 – But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.           Romans 6:23 – For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.           Romans 10:9 – That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.           Romans 10:13 – “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”   F.A.I.T.H. Evangelism  (Lifeway) F is for forgiveness – Romans 3:23 A is for available – John 3:16 I is for impossible – Ephesians 2:8-9 T is for turn – Luke 13:3 H is for heaven – John 14:1-3 Bad News/Good News  (EvanTell) The bad news is that all have sinned (Romans 3:23) & the wages of our sin is death (Romans 6:23). The Good News is that Christ died for our sins       (Romans 5:8) & we can be saved through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9)   ABC – Admit, Believe and Confess Admit that you have sinned Believe that Jesus Christ died for you Confess your sin to God and that Jesus Christ is Lord   The Nicodemus Model           John 3:1-21   The Power of Prayer & the Power of Redemption!   The Gospel and Grace!  A couple of really big words.           Gospel comes from the Anglo Saxon godspell.  It means “good story” or “good news.”           The New Testament Greek word is euaggelion.  It is predominantly a Christian word.           “Good News” appears seventy-two times in the New Testament.  Fifty-four of those times are found in the letters of the Apostle Paul.  For the great evangelist Christianity was essentially GOOD NEWS!   It is Good News of Jesus Christ – Mark 1:1 It is Good News for all humanity – Mark 16:15, John 3:16 It is NOT a human discovery – Galatians 1:11-12 It is a GIFT from God – GRACE – Romans 12:3
