Beast of Bourbon

It's time to brush up on your bruxa because this week we're diving into the graphic novel adaptation of “A Grain of Truth,” the early Witcher tale that introduced us to Nivellen, Vereena and Andrzej Sapkowski's penchant for provocative endings. Over a bottle of Wilderness Trail Kentucky Straight Bourbon, one of the more challenging whiskeys we've had in a while, we unpack this new version of The Witcher's equally complex spin on Beauty and the Beast. Was it love at first bite—er, sight? Or did we want to drive a stake through its heart? Plus, we ponder the anatomical attributes of oversized boars, explain why Roach is the smartest character in the story and reveal why sometimes, all it takes is one tiny outline of light to make your day.
