Today, Giles Alderson & Dom Lenoir welcome director/producer/actor Baltasar Kormákur to the show. He has made films such as Contraband (2012), 2 Guns (2013), Everest (2015) and Beast (2022) and has worked with star-actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Denzel Washington, Jason Clarke and Idris Elba to name a few. He sits down with our hosts to chat about: being on set the difficulties of shooting on location making and starring in his debut feature film how he put his own money into making his debut navigating between Hollywood and indie films directing tips his learnings over the years working with star actors like Denzel Washington shooting with a CGI lion vs a real lion working in the studio system Baltasar was very honest about his journey.
