What are the grounds for divorce according to the Bible? Biblical scholars agree in some ways and disagree in others, but Paul lays out his understanding of Scripture on the subject. We’re looking at several passages from both the Old Testament and the New Testament to learn what God has to say about when it is okay and not okay to divorce a spouse.When we state our vows on our wedding day, we are entering a binding Godly contract to provide these things for one another.It’s important to note that just because divorce is an option, it doesn’t mean that it has to be the option.
