It’s May 1992 and Ringo Starr has a new album out! Following the Ringo Renaissance that was the 1989 All Starr Band Tour, this new LP for 1992 titled Time Takes Time was a breath of fresh air for fans around the world who hadn’t seen a release by the former Beatle in a decade (or more, depending on the territory they call home!). And what a record to come back with -- a strikingly fresh assortment of new tracks by artists both contemporary and legacy all adorned with that signature Ringo vocal. From the lead-off track Weight of the World, that familiar Beatle sound which was back in vogue in the early 1990s was front and center, projected by one of the four folks responsible for the sound to begin with.
