Beatles For Sale ranked with John Craigie and James Partridge

from The Quarrelmen Beatles podcast · host Adam Gimbel

What’s your most loved and least favorite song on the fourth Beatles album, Beatles For Sale?!  We are SO happy to finally release this 2024 chat with England's greatest tour manager, James Partridge, and John Craigie, whose beautifully spare tunes and famed one-man Beatle shows have been enrapturing audiences worldwide for ages. While driving Stones n Roses to record at Abbey Road studios, Adam asked James which album he would choose if he were a guest and, by choosing B4S, cemented his place on our roster. He'd been playing the band John Craigie's hilarious live recordings on tour the same 2017 summer that Craigie started doing the quietest, funniest Beatles cover shows of all-time. You can hear it for yourself because Revolver Alone is streaming online since we recorded this. John and James (not to be confused with John and James Paul) crowbarred in this lively long distance Beatles chat while on tour near Brighton, England. Listen at QuarrelmenPod.com, Apple, Spotify, Youtube and anywhere in Kansas City.
