Beautiful Death

Today's episode of the podcast is an important one. I sat down with my friend, Yoga Teacher and Death Doula, Brie Huling to talk about death and how it can actually be quite beautiful. I tell her, as we're chatting, "when I think of you, I fondly think of death" - and I meant it! There's a lot about death in mainstream culture that gets in our way. First and foremost, the taboo around even talking about it. So, I'd encourage you to suspend whatever thoughts and feelings you might be having right now and join the conversation with an open mind. Then, ask yourself: What would it be like to plan for a beautiful death (whether that's for you or in supporting someone else)? As an added bonus, Brie says, "in centering around death, we get to really anchor into the beauty of living." And, who doesn't want that?
