Beautiful Dreamer Society Nap-in: A sacred rest circle
from The Beautiful Dreamer Society Podcast · host Susan Bruck
This past weekend, we gathered live here on Substack for a Nap-In — a soft circle of rest and restoration.I opened by reading from Rest Is Resistance, Rest Is Sacred, then shared a fairy tale: “The Poor Miller’s Boy and the Cat” — a story about quiet devotion, listening, and the kind of wisdom that grows in silence. After the story, I sang lullabies and played crystal singing bowls, Koshi chimes, and tuning forks (though their vibration is softer than the microphone could capture). Still, the atmosphere lingers — and you’re warmly invited to return to it.Note: The tuning forks used during this Nap-In were tuned to Alpha and Theta brainwave frequencies — supporting calm presence and dreamlike depth, even if they can’t be clearly heard in the recording. I also used my 528 Hz tuning fork—also known as the miracle tone. You can listen while lying down, resting your eyes, or letting the sound become a soft cocoon. Headphones or earbuds are recommended.Whether you drift off or stay fully present, it’s all good.Thank you to those who joined live. And to those listening now — welcome to the circle. With love and rest,Susan This is a public episode.
