It is a turning away from grief to joy. The repentant people of God will receive beauty. This great exchange should encourage us. The affliction is light when compared to the beauty that is to come. He will place us in Zion. He has promised to give us beauty for ashes. He will give us new garments. Set your affections on things above. Rejoice in all.
