During my "Oysters & Bubbles" date with my Mom as our luxury treat for the week, we got talking about the look of the oysters. The phrase "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" came up as we discussed how the outside doesn't appeal to everyone, but what's inside does. That got me thinking all about the phrase and how we can incorporate that into daily life. Seeing beauty where we typically wouldn't. With all that's going on in our country right now and with Covid-19 it seems there is a lot of ugliness. But I challenge us this week to find the beauty in ourselves and in our given situations.
