Beavers in March Madness | Oregon State Beavers Basketball News

Even though Oregon State’s basketball teams missed March Madness, their alumni lit up the tournament—turning heads and making history. Reagan Beers led Oklahoma to the Sweet Sixteen with a double-double, Jordan Pope powered Texas’ Cinderella run on a broken foot, and Tyler Bilodeau was UCLA’s top scorer (though sidelined by injury). Liaturas Lelevicious and Donovyn Hunter shone for TCU, with Hunter reaching the Elite Eight. Thomas Ndong and Adlee Blacklock contributed to Cal Baptist and Texas Tech’s surprise runs. Lily Hansford was the lone Beaver to play between OSU and Green Bay. And in a major win, Timea Gardiner—medically redshirted this year—claimed a national title with UCLA. The Beavers may not have been in the bracket, but their former players made sure they were heard loud and clear.
