Because I Can: A Powerful Reminder to Live with Gratitude and Joy

Today’s episode is being released on a Wednesday instead of my usual Friday—because today matters.March 4th marks 16 years since my younger sister Heather passed away from colon cancer. Every year on this day I honor her with something I call “Because I Can” Day.It’s a simple practice that has become a powerful reminder to live with gratitude, awareness, and appreciation for the everyday things we often take for granted.In this unfiltered and unedited episode, I invite you to join me in remembering that being here—right now—is a privilege.Because we can.We can go for a walk.We can call a friend.We can hug our spouse.We can smile at someone in the grocery store.We can sit in the sun and feel the warmth on our face.When we begin noticing these small privileges, something shifts.
