Because the Lord Has Need of It - Palm Sunday

Fr. Matthias reminds us that Hosanna Sunday reveals Jesus as the humble yet sovereign King who enters not only Jerusalem but the hearts of believers, calling them to total surrender. Using the image of the colt—“The Lord has need of it”—he shows that everything we have belongs to God, and true discipleship means offering Him our mind, heart, will, body, possessions, and even our burdens.
