After stints in synth-pop band Ultra Key and rockin' out with 90-Proof, she's gone solo (well, in a manner of speaking) with her first EP. Skating By contains six well crafted original indie pop songs that display writing and playing chops that most first efforts lack. Becca writes from her own point of view as a woman in her upper twenties, but her lyrics will connect with a broad variety of listeners from all walks of life.
