Hailing from Connecticut, Dystopica is a metal band that combines classic heavy metal with modern metal. Their distinct sound is a blend of various subgenres including heavy metal, progressive metal, thrash metal and hard rock. Their music includes harmonized guitar riffs, epic guitar solos, vigorous drumming and powerful vocals. The band is Becky Brideau on vocals, Rob Muller on guitar, Lucas Dellaporta on bass and Christian “HAM” Peragine on drums. Dystopica has shared the stage with national acts such as Metal Church, Gemini Syndrome, Adelitas Way and Deadlands. On May 17th, 2024 Dystopica released their debut full-length album Infinite Reflection via Pavement Entertainment. The album was produced by Nick Bellmore (Dee Snider, Corpsegrinder, Ripper, Hatebreed, Toxic Holocaust, Many Eyes). Each song on it is very distinct from one another but together they tell a story of evolving through time that parallels the evolution of Dystopica’s sound. Infinite Reflection charted in the top 10 at #7 on the NACC Heavy radio chart. They released covers of Iron Maiden's "Flight Of Icarus", Scorpions' "Blackout" and Judas Priest’s “Freewheel Burning” which were played on Sirius XM Liquid Metal’s Corridor of Covers. On June 6th, 2025 they released their new single "This Curse".
