She was affiliated with the PTA Program at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO from 1997 to 2011. She served for four years as the ACCE and nine years as the Program Director. Becky is an active member of APTA and has served on several national committee/task force groups including the Models of Physical Therapy Delivery Task Force that considered the role of support personnel within physical therapy care. She also served on the Consultant Group on the development of an Educational Leadership Institute and the Task force to revise the Normative Model of Physical Therapist Assistant Education. Becky has further served in various capacities for the Federation of State Board of Physical Therapy and has been an on-site reviewer for CAPTE since 2009. Becky served as Chair of the PTA Educators SIG of the then Education Section from 2007 – 2011 and has spoken at numerous national meetings on PTA curricular design and assessment education. Becky is the 2009 recipient of the F.A. Davis Award for Outstanding Physical Therapist Assistant Educator.
