Become Super-Psyched by Unleashing 4 Types of Connection

from Psych Up Live

In a culture that seems unable to disconnect from phones, TV's, computers, video games and online chats – there are many lonely people who feel disconnected. What creates the isolation and disconnect that so many feel? Is the feeling of disconnection actually exacerbated by the overuse of the very things from phones to fast food that offer a quick fix? In this show, Psychologist Dr. Adam Dorsay draws upon his new and interesting book, Super Psyched to  take a close look at all aspects of "Connection". He considers how the desperate need for connection actually keeps us disconnected. He invites us to consider how we connect to others, family, our work, community,  the world, nature and to Something Greater. He draws upon the theories and strategies of leaders in the field of mental health and translates them into useable tools that can improve our lives through understanding and personal connection. Don't Miss This Show.   Guest Dr Adam Dorsay PsyD Dr. Adam Dorsay is a licensed psychologist and an executive coach in Silicon Valley where he serves high achieving adults from executives to professional athletes- all struggling with disconnection in their own way.
