In the conclusion of our conversation with Nadia Barhoumeh, immigrant, Sufi, nurse, mother of two, we detail her journey towards her spiritual calling and go into detail of the moment in which she felt herself being called back to the Divine, to God.  She highlights for her the ideas around separation, death and purification through practice in order to better reflect the Divine nature in us all.  Nadia discusses Rumi and the practice of whirling, or twirling in the Sufi tradition and its roots. Nadia holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Rush University, College of Nursing in Chicago, IL. She's also a Certified Yoga Teacher and Therapist, Since 2005 and a Licensed Registered Nurse in State of California, Since 1990.
