Melchizedek School of Priesthood | Aug 20, 2026 You were not brought into Christ to live as a beggar, a victim, or someone permanently at the mercy of circumstances. You have been called to discover, possess, and progressively express the life God has already placed within you. The problem is often not that God has withheld what is needed, but that many believers have not yet understood who they are, what has been given to them, or how to become functional in those realities. Scripture presents the new creation as one who has been blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ and called into a life of glory, excellence, fellowship, authority, holiness, and spiritual maturity. This means your journey must move beyond constantly asking God for what He has already provided and toward learning how to recognize, possess, and walk in what belongs to you. At the center of this journey is truth. Truth is not merely information to agree with; it is the unchanging reality upon which your life is meant to be built. What God has established in truth cannot be overturned by circumstances, delays, opposition, or the activity of darkness. When truth becomes deeply established within you, it produces certainty. You stop living by experimentation, fear, or uncertainty and begin to stand on what God has said even when what you see appears to contradict it. Trials do not always mean something has gone wrong. At times, what you know will be tested so that conviction can become established within you. You must therefore learn to remain rooted in truth long enough for it to become more real to you than the circumstances confronting you. Your greatest pursuit should consequently be the knowledge of God and the truth that proceeds from Him. The more accurately you see God, the more clearly you understand what He has made possible in the new creation. You were created for fellowship and relationship with Him, not merely for earthly achievement. The divine life you received in Christ must also move from potential to experience. New birth places the life of God within you, but maturity requires that this life increasingly influence your soul—your mind, will, emotions, conscience, desires, and decisions. The goal is not merely to possess spiritual life inwardly while continuing to think and behave according to old patterns. Your consciousness must be renewed until what is true in your spirit begins to govern the whole of your being. This is a progressive journey from carnality into spiritual maturity and into an increasingly God-shaped way of living. You must continually expose your soul to truth until your thoughts, desires, responses, and choices come into alignment with the life you have received. This also changes how you understand dominion. Authority is not primarily about loud declarations or spiritual ambition; it flows from inward reality. God created visible things from invisible realities, and you must similarly allow truth to become substantial within you before expecting your words to consistently carry spiritual weight. What you speak should proceed from something already established in your inner man. When truth has become an inward possession, your words become expressions of conviction rather than attempts to manufacture results. This is why possessing your spiritual inheritance matters. What has been given but never inwardly possessed cannot be effectively enjoyed or expressed. You must also abandon self-centered Christianity. Christ did not die so that your life could remain organized around personal comfort, ambition, preservation, and gratification. You are called to become increasingly God-centered, God-conscious, and God-expressing. Your deepest hunger should be to know Him, please Him, reveal Him, and fulfill the purpose for which you were created. The more your life becomes occupied with God, the closer you move toward the true intention of your creation. Spiritual maturity therefore includes dying to the dominance of self and allowing God's will, nature, desires, and priorities to increasingly shape your life. Ultimately, the goal is a life of glory and excellence: a life increasingly free from domination by the earthly, established in truth, saturated with divine life, deeply united with God, and able to express His nature in everyday situations. You are called to live from what God has already deposited within you, not from a consciousness of lack. Seek truth relentlessly. Guard your secret place. Renew your mind. Possess what has been given to you. Let divine life take over your soul. Make knowing and pleasing God your highest pursuit. Refuse to live beneath the realities Christ has made available, and continue growing until your life increasingly becomes an expression of the One who called you to Himself.
