Becoming God's Giant Blessing To Others

Have you ever known someone that always seems to make life better for the 
 people around them? It’s easy to recognize such a person because they benefit whomever they are with. The Apostle Paul had just this kind of buddy at his side when he was . . . a prisoner in Rome for preaching about the Gospel “kingdom” 
of Jesus . . . falsely accused of being an international terrorist enemy against the Roman Empire . . . waiting to go on trial before the insane, blood-thirsty, murderous Emperor Nero. Well, this friend’s name was Epaphroditus and he proved to be one 
 of God’s best gifts ever to Paul as he both wrote the Bible book we call Philippians and waited in chains for two years to be judged by Nero. In our study of Philippians 2:25-30, we’ll discover what made Epaphroditus such a giant blessing to Paul. 
 The truth is, Scripture doesn’t actually tell us much about this amazing follower of Jesus. In fact, what little we know about the man is right here in these few verses. However, they tell enough to show us the qualities that the Holy Spirit built into Epaphroditus’ life, and that we need Him to build into our lives, so that we also 
 can become God’s giant blessing to the lives we come in contact with all the time.
