Becoming Israel
from Shalom In Your Phone! Hosted by Rabbi Rebecca Keren Jablonski
Shalom in Your Phone! This week, in Parashat Vayishlach, we hear how Jacob is ready to seek forgiveness and make amends with his estranged brother Eysav and return home to the promised land. Has the 21 years away from home helped Jacob evolve? Of course, it has! We discuss the moment when Jacob wrestles with an angel and gets the new name Israel: because he had striven with G-d and man and prevailed!
