Becoming Like The Teacher Part 2

Dealing With Those Who Hurt Us: God sees us when we are in pain. He knows it when we cry for justice for the wrong things done to us. He wants to assure us today that He understands how we feel & will never allow evil to prosper because He is a just God. But as our Father, He also wants to teach us a different way of dealing with our bitterness. He wants us to learn and follow what Jesus did. Not giving in to anger and surrendering our battles to God gives us the assurance of favor from Him. By letting God avenge for us, we are setting ourselves up for victory over our enemies. So when the enemy is trying to tempt you to fight back, remember what Jesus did. [ When He was reviled, He did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but continued entrusting Himself to Him who judges justly. -1 Peter 2:23 ] [ For the LORD your God is he that goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you. - Deuteronomy 20:4]
