Their model achieves this by empowering local churches and volunteers to care for their neighbors in need in a compassionate and impactful way. With over 15 years of experience in child welfare and social services, Rose helped start Better Together to provide families with support before crises occur. Today, Better Together operates in six regions across Florida, serving 48 counties. The program has helped more than 15,000 children, with 98% remaining out of the state system through mentoring and hosting. Additionally, over 45,000 individuals nationwide have been connected to job opportunities through the Better Together workforce program.
