Becoming More Like Christ

Growing up, there was a boy in our neighborhood who always mimicked his older brother. If the older one wore a red cap, so did he. If the elder picked up a basketball, he followed with one too. It was clear who his role model was—and with time, you could see traits of the older brother forming in him. In a much deeper and eternal way, we are called to reflect Jesus Christ—not just in what we say, but in how we live, love, forgive, and serve. Romans 8:29 reminds us that God’s purpose is to shape us into the image of His Son. This is not just an aspiration—it’s a divine plan.
