However, one of the biggest franachises in the world the Marvel Cinematic Universe managed to do that in 2025 with the release of the Disney+ produced animated TV mini-series Marvel Zombies, which was inspired by the acclaimed comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Greg Land & Mark Millar and a spin-off of the animated TV show What If... season 1 episode: "What If... Zombies?!".
