Hey, everyone! Welcome to episode 10 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. The podcast where your host Bede Jermyn explores the remakes, re-edits, reimaginings, homages, unofficial follow-ups and more to George A. Romero’s 1968 classic Night Of The Living Dead across all media. Well, it has finally arrived. The podcast has reached its milestone 10th episode. Even though it might not seem like much, but this is major achievement for a little podcast such as this. However there is plenty more episodes on the many different versions of Night Of The Living Dead to come this year, so there will be more milestones for the show to hit in 2023. After covering quite a number of bigger budgeted remakes of the film over the past few episodes, it's time to take a look at some micro-budget independent film takes on NOTLD with both the 2013 film Night Of The Living Reboot from Guthrie Films and the 2014 film A Night Of The Living Dead from Shattered Images Films. Joining Bede to discuss both of these two low budget remakes of Night Of The Living Dead is returning guest Derek Smith, who previously made an appearance on the first episode of the podcast.
