Bede Vs. The Living Dead Episode 31 - The Cannes Extended Version and Dario Argento's "Zombi" Recut of Dawn Of The Dead (1978)

Hey, everyone! Welcome to episode 31 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. The podcast where your host Bede Jermyn explores the remakes, re-edits, reimaginings, homages, unofficial follow-ups and more to George A. Romero’s 1968 classic Night Of The Living Dead across all media. After taking a detour with our milestone 30th episode to take a look at comic boo miniseries centred around Night Of The Living Dead (even if it was in-name only), your host Bede heads back into the world of the 1978 sequel Dawn Of The Dead. Even though he already looked at the threatrical version of the film a few episodes back, Bede will be diving into two well different cuts of the DOTD for this edition of the podcast: The Cannes Extended Cut and Dario Argento's European recut Zombi (this version of the film has its own seperate film franchise that will be explored in future episodes over the next few months). Joining Bede to discuss these two different cuts are returning guests filmmakers Jake C. Young & Kenny Scott Guffey (the directors of A Night Of The Undead, which was the subject of episode 17) and first-time guest Warren Money (co-host of s#1tcast).
