Bede Vs. The Living Dead Episode 47 - Vengeance Of The Zombies (1973) and Revenge In The House Of Usher (1983)

Welcome to episode 47 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. After taking a look two random horror films that were released as the unofficial 5th entries in the Zombi franchise in some parts of the world, your host Bede Jermyn dives into two other films that were also retitled as Zombie 5 woldwide as well. Those being director León Klimovsky's 1972 film Vengeance Of The Zombies (a.k.a Zombie V: Vengenace) starring & written by legendary horror icon Paul Naschy and the 1983 quasi-Edgar Allen Poe film adapation Revenege In The House Of Usher (a.ka.a. Zombie 5: Revenege In The House Of Usher) from A Virgin Among The Living Dead filmmaker Jess Franco. Joining Bede to discuss this next two unofficial Zombie 5 films is returning guest Marcus Wilturner (writer/contributor for The Super Network). Highlights include Bede & Marcus's mixed feelings on Vengeance Of The Zombies, the film's off-putting use of brownface, Paul Naschy playing three characters in the film, the interesting story behind the making of Revenege In The House Of Usher, how there three different cuts of the film, are there even zombies in the film? and so much more.
