Bede Vs. The Living Dead Episode 59 - Dawn Of The Living Dead (2004)... The Indie Horror Film Capitalising On DOTD
from Bede Vs. The Living Dead · host The BVTLD Network
Welcome to episode 59 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. Well, we've finally arrived. After covering it since the beginning of last year, your host Bede Jermyn has come to end of his deep dive into every aspect that's linked to Night Of The Living Dead's official sequel Dawn Of The Dead. Before he heads into his next phase of the podcast, Bede has one final DOTD related media that he'll be looking at. For this episode, Bede dives into a straight-to-DVD horror film that had it's title changed to capitalise on the release of the 2004 Dawn Of The Dead remake: Dawn Of The Living Dead (a.k.a. Curse Of The Maya and Evil Grave) from writer/director/star David Heavener.Joining Bede to discuss this DOTD *ripoff* are returning guests The Super Network writer/contributor Marcus Wilturner and journalist Dave O'Brien. Highlights include hilarity that film thinks that it is "Dawn Of The Dead meets 28 Days Later", the continuity error that Bede noticed, was Todd Bridges' character inspired by the film Radio?, the insanity of the plot, Joe Estevez's wardrobe and so much more.
