Welcome to landmark episode 70 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. After checking out George A. Romero's 4th entry in his Dead series with Land Of The Dead on the previous episode of the show, your host Bede Jermyn is heading back into the world of Night Of The Living Dead comics by diving into a on-going one (?) that's a prequel to the original 1968 film. Not only that, it produced in installments for Heavy Metal magazine (later complied for a three issue comic book) and was written by Romero's son George C. Romero. That being the 2021 comic series The Rise.
