Bede Vs. The Living Dead Episode 78 - O.C. Babes And The Slasher Of Zombietown (2008) and Nerd Of The Living Dead (2011)
from Bede Vs. The Living Dead · host The BVTLD Network
Welcome to episode 78 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. While your host Bede Jermyn has covered quite a lot of different areas of Night Of The Living Dead for the podcast, there is one area in particular that he hasn't done in a while: films that take footage from NOTLD and incorporate them into their narratives. Two such films that do this just happen to be indie horror/comedies. For this episode, Bede takes a look at the 2008 film O.C. Babes And The Slasher Of Zombietown from director Creep Creepersin and the 2011 film Nerd Of The Living Dead from director Stu Dodge. Joining Bede to discuss these two films is a massive line-up of returning guests: Super Marcey & Kollin Kersten (Bede's co-host on The Tubi Tuesdays Podcast, which is part of The Super Network), Brad A. Hargis (host ofTombs Of Terror with Old Man Brad) and John Doucette (host of Smash Trivia Presents: The Gamma Analysis). Highlights include do Bede's guests hate him for subjecting them to these films?, was the sound quality of O.C. Babes And The Slasher Of Zombietown done through the camera's microphone?, why are the opening credits 10 minutes long?, the bizarre reason the film uses Night Of The Living Dead footage, what's all the fart sound effects in Nerd Of The Living Dead?, how this film uses its footage of NOTLD better than O.C. Babes, who is the lone person who loved this film? and so much more.
