We had as much fun as we could with this one. In chapter 14 both the northern and southern kingdoms of Israel show difficulty obeying the Lord and find lifestyles apart from Him. This leads to physical loss, spiritual unrest and even foreign enemies once delivered from (Egypt) showing up again to defeat Israel in battle and steal possessions of the temple. We discuss how the Lord had already lost what he cared about most (his people's hearts) and that the temple items were of little value in comparison to the Father.
