Sometimes battles take us by surprise, but other times we know when they are coming. In this episode we see the inept king Ben-Hadad prepare to attack Israel and king Ahab and make the terrible mistake of preparing by drinking excessive amounts of alcohol with his other officials. We discuss the importance of remaining ever thankful for the gifts and abilities we have, even down to the air we breath, which protects us from the prideful dependence on ourselves and our gifts to deliver us into victory.
