In tonight's episode the boys find themselves a little lost about who the king is??? Hello! David! After recovering, we discuss how Absalom's return to Jerusalem caused more turmoil because David failed to effectively discipline his children out of love. He let Amnon off the hook for Tamar, he let Absalom off the hook for Amnon and for his injustice to Joab. A loving father or mother must be decisive, and firm when responding to misbehavior out of love for their children. Our children don't need another friend - they need a father/mother.
