Bedtime Bible Boys Malachi Ch 3 Overflow

Discipline is an effective means of promoting change in our lives. It can get us out of a funk, help us to see the reality of our thoughts and actions or gut check our hearts. However, at some point I do believe that in Christ we are to mature to a point where the goodness that flows out of us, is like an overflowing bowl. It is precisely when He pours so much into us, that we can find nowhere else to store it on the inside that we are compelled by that same overflow and the Spirit alive in us to share what we have generously with Him and others. Disciplinary obedience is a great place to start, but one day we should start eating adult food.
