If you know someone that's worthy of being recognized, fill out the form at WBEE.COM and tell us about that special person or organization in our community who goes above and beyond. Jennifer writes: My father, Danny Osgood, is deserving of being recognized as a Bee a Light person because he has given of himself selflessly in various different fire departments and rescue squads. He has served over 50 years in the Wyoming county fire departments and rescue squad. He had also donated over 8 gallons of blood and had been a regular platelet donor for an individual in need fir several years. Unfortunately he had to stop donating due to being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He even stopped to run rescue calls on his way home from chemo treatments. He spent many years as a youth group volunteer at his church, 4-H leader. When it comes to an example of giving to those around you Danny is the prime example. He always thinks of others first! BEE A Light is presented by United Way of Greater Rochester and the Finger Lakes: Change starts with you. Be a changemaker—give, volunteer, and take action with United Way.
