Bees spike Bears, Silverwolves

The Box Elder High School boys volleyball team had a strong start to its season last week, picking up two straightset victories in home matches. On Tuesday, the Bees swept cross-county rivals, Bear River, and beat Fremont on Thursday in the Bees’ first region match of the year. With six returning seniors, the Bees put their foot on the gas early against the Bears. Peter and Isaac Laing led the offensive charge with fellow senior Orion Fifield providing some punishing kills as the Bees overwhelmed the Bears and cruised to a 25- 12, 25-9, 25-10 win.
