Ludwig van Beethoven ist am 26.März 1827 gestorben. Bei der Untersuchung der Leiche haben Mediziner seinerzeit u.a. Beethovens Kopf geöffnet, um sein Gehör zu untersuchen, Haarlocken abgeschnitten und aufbewahrt. Jetzt hat ein internationales Forschungsteam Ludwig van Beethovens Genom komplett entschlüsselt. Johannes Krause, Professor für Paläogenetik am Max Planck Institut für evolutionäre Anthropologie erklärt die Ergebnisse.
