Episode 96 appears from the Afterlife, complete with a waiting room ticket!!!  Emcee and Cupcake are joined by the host of the Backlook Cinema Podcast, Zo to review “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”, the direct sequel to the 1988 classic. The film summons the original director (Tim Burton) and stars (Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara) for more bio-exorcist shenanigans. Just don’t say his name three times….the recording and editing took a (after)lifetime because Cupcake’s PC kept crashing. But with the magic of editing, the Boyz let you know if this is a fun eccentric laughfest worthy of the genre-busting original or if it’s more of the same and deserves banishment to that weird planet with sandworms (and we ain’t talking Dune here!)
