Before & After Supportig Students Beyond the Classroom

Dr. Baez, CAO for LAUSD, was joined by Ana Estevez with Beyond the Bell, Vanessa Parra with LA's Best, and Ruby Gonzalez, a 5th grader at Monte Vista ES, for a conversation about the many benefits and opportunities of Before and After School Programs in LAUSD. Research shows that students participating in high-quality programs improve academically, develop critical thinking skills, and build lasting friendships.
