BEFORE SUNRISE + BEFORE SUNSET + BEFORE MIDNIGHT (feat. Amanda Ball)
from Aya Vs. The Big Boys Hosted by Aya Lehman, Kevin Cookman
Happy Valentine's Day to all the lovers out there! On this special, extra isolated fake holiday, Aya and Kevin are joined by Merry-Go-Round Magazine contributor Amanda Ball to discuss one of the most highly esteemed film trilogies ever made: THE BEFORE TRILOGY. Three feature-length films of some of the purest love ever depicted in cinema – and probably what inspired that one weirdo on the Metro to try and ask you about what book you were reading. It's the most films ever discussed on a mainline episode, and, as it turns out, these movies that can be distilled down into "two people talk for like 90 minutes" are actually some of the densest films the duo has ever faced off against. Just how annoying is Jesse in BEFORE SUNRISE? Is BEFORE SUNSET like TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN? At the end of almost two decades of projecting onto them, do we really want Celine and Jesse to fight BEFORE MIDNIGHT? Most importantly, why do the French suck ass?
