Before the City Falls

Abraham's intercession before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah unfolds as a portrait of mercy and prayer as we read. Today's readings are Genesis chapters eighteen and nineteen, Matthew chapter six, and Psalm five. Read along in your own Bible every day and keep the reading plan going one chapter at a time. Scripture includes mature themes such as violence, sexual content, and the destruction of cities. If this reading has been meaningful to you, please follow, rate, and share so others can find their way into the whole story of God's Word.
