Before The ENCORE #10 | MixedBySimba

The weather is getting warmer, the sun is shining, and May is coming to a close which means a new Before The ENCORE with yours truly, Sonic Architect Adam in the driving seat. This month, I sat down with MixedBySimba, a recording and mix engineer based in Dublin, who has a list of credits that would make any Irish rap & drill fan's head spin. Simba has worked with the likes of Offica, Sello, A92, Evans Junior, Tolu Makay, Belters Only and far too many more to list. In the episode we chat all about mixing, Simba's position as a key player in the Irish drill & rap scene & the modern ways of working for engineers. You can find a Spotify playlist of Before The ENCORE's entire discography here.
