I worked as a civil engineer building power plants while I built up my real estate investing business, so I know a few things about making that jump into full-time investing. Don’t freak out your spouse by making that jump blindly. If you want to get your partner on your side, then you need to be prepared for the amount of hard work it takes to have your own business. Not having that regular paycheck can be one of the scariest issues your marriage has ever had to face. I’m going to be honest about some of the preparation I didn’t take before I quit.
