BEGINNINGS: Day 1 Light

Beginnings is a seven-week sermon series where we look at the seven days of creation thematically. We consider each day as we explore how to experience new beginnings in our life. This first week is on how light was used by God to create newness; not only on Day One in Genesis but also in the life of Moses. Gen 1:1-5; Exodus 3:1-10 FOR VINE GROUPS AND FURTHER DISCUSSION - Read Genesis 1:1-5. What do you notice? - Read Exodus 3:1-10. As you consider Moses life, what do you think his expectations were before this night? - What do you notice in these 10 verses about who God is? - What are the similarities between Day 1 and this experience with Moses? - Where are you experiencing darkness, chaos, or emptiness in your life? - If you could have God bring about any new beginning in your life, what would you ask for?
