Behind Enemy Lines: Ajax's Brazilian duo Liverpool must be wary of | Dutch reaction to Virgil van Dijk injury blow

Liverpool face Ajax in the Champions League this evening, but what should we expect from Erik Ten Hag and his players? Blood Red's Matt Addison speaks to Football Oranje's Michael Statham to get the lowdown on the Dutch side, including their strengths and weaknesses, how they will approach the game, and how they have changed since reaching the Champions League semi-finals in 2019. Frenkie de Jong, Hakim Ziyech and Donny van de Beek may no longer be in Amsterdam, but there are plenty of other threats, including David Neres, who has been linked with a big-money transfer move to Liverpool in the past, and a new Brazilian wonderkid who is tipped to cause the Reds' defence problems. Michael also provides the Dutch view on Virgil van Dijk's ACL injury and explains how Liverpool have already missed out on signing his ideal replacement. The Liverpool Echo sends a twice-daily Liverpool FC bulletin out via email with the all latest news, views and analysis from Anfield.
