Behind that locked door| Rev. David Pileggi

24 April 2022 - Second Sunday of Easter - History records accounts of Jewish disciples standing by and dying with their martyred rabbis. Rev. David Pileggi reminds us that most of Jesus' students abandoned their teacher at his death. Were they hiding from Jesus in the upper room? After the resurrection, Jesus enters their locked room -- not with justified anger -- but with words of peace and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
